Julep’s
Ingredients
- Crushed Ice for Collins Glass
- 90ml of MacRoys-BB1
- 30ml of Gomme Syrup
- 4 Sprigs - Mint leaves & 1 for garnish
Method
- Crushed ice in the Collins glass.
- In a shaker, muddle the mint sprigs & gomme syrup & pour on ice.
- Gently pour MacRoys Blended Scotch on it.
- Garnish with Mint Sprig, straw & stir.
The Famous Manhattan
Ingredients
- Ice Cubes & Broken Ice
- 60 ml MacRoys BB1
- 15 ml Rosso Vermouth
- 15 ml Angostura Bitters
- 1 Maraschino Cherry
Method
- Take a glassful of broken ice into a shaker.
- Pour in your favourite MacRoys BBI Blended Scotch
- Add vermouth & bitter
- Shake briefly and pour unstrained into Manhattan or Rock Glass.
- Garnish Maraschino
Scots Guard
Ingredients
- Ice Cubes & Broken Ice
- 60 ml MacRoys BB1
- 15 ml Rosso Vermouth
- 15 ml Angostura Bitters
- 1 Maraschino Cherry
Method
- Take a glassful of broken ice into a shaker.
- Pour in your favourite MacRoys BBI Blended Scotch
- Add vermouth & bitter
- Shake briefly and pour unstrained into Manhattan or Rock Glass.
- Garnish Maraschino
Old Fashioned
Ingredients
- Broken Ice
- 90 ml MacRoys BB1
- 1 Demerara Sugar cube
- 1 Dash Bitter
- Soda Water
Method
- Place the sugar cube in the old-fashioned glass.
- Add dash of bitters. When the sugar cube is soaked up all of the bitters, three quarters fill of the glass with broken ice
- Pour MacRoys Blended Scotch Whisky
- Splash Soda, Serve & Enjoy
Whisky Squirt
Ingredients
- Crushed Ice & Broken Ice
- 60 ml MacRoys BB1
- 1 tsp Triple Sec
- 10ml Gomme syrup
- ½ crush fresh peach (without skin)
- Soda Water
Method
- Crush the peach in mixing glass
- Put a glassful of crushed ice into shaker
- Add crushed peach, gomme syrup, Triple Sec, MacRoys Scotch Whisky.
- Shake well and then strain over 3-4 cubes of ice in highball glass
- Splash Soda and serve, Enjoy…!
Thunderclap
Ingredients
- 45 ml MacRoys BB1 Scotch Whisky
- 15 ml Gin
- 15 ml Brandy
Method
- Take a cocktail shaker
- Pour in Ice cubes
- Add all the best liquors
- Strain into a shot glass
- Get High….!
Whisky Sour
Ingredients
- 50ml bourbon
- 35ml lemon juice
- 12½ml 2:1 sugar syrup
- 2 dashes bitters
- ½ fresh egg white
- Ice
- 50p-sized piece of lemon zest
- For the garnish - slice of orange and a cherry on a stick
Method
- Shake all of the ingredients (except for the lemon zest) hard with ice
- Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass
- Squeeze the lemon zest, shiny side down over the drink
- Discard the zest, add the garnish and serve
